This Moon 509P-1522 nozzle is a Coast Guard-approved shipboard firefighting nozzle. It has a 1-1/2" National Hose (NH) threaded inlet for attaching to a fire hose. It has solid brass construction for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability, and it has a chrome finish for resistance to abrasion. The nozzle has a pistol-style grip for comfort and a handle for on-off activation. It has a maximum pressure rating of 100 pounds per square inch (psi) and a maximum flow rate of 95 gallons per minute (gpm). This nozzle meets standards for FM Approved, United States Coast Guard (USCG) specification 162.027/17/0, and meets National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1964 specifications.
